The Compressor is
one of the major components in the A/C system which regulates and supplies
the refrigerant. It is considered the heart of the A/C system. It is a
mechanical pump which is driven by a belt connected to the engine. The A/C
compressor and the condenser must work together in order for your A/C system
to work properly. The compressor is one of two junctions in the A/C system
which separates the high pressure and the low pressure sides. The compressor
draws the refrigerant from the discharge side and sends it to the condenser
at a high pressure by compressing it. In the condenser, the Freon gas gets
cooled and changes into liquid form. |
